SALT + PINE FILMS

Wedding films that just hit different

Salt + Pine Films was ready to update their brand identity and website. After operating for 4 years, refining their craft, and taking on higher budget projects, their brand presence needed to reflect their luxe and elevated cinematography style. We worked with them to craft, perfect, and build out a new brand identity system and website that captures the true spirit of Salt + Pine.

Brand Identity

Initial concepts
Icon development

Salt + Pine is named for its two owners. “Salt” represents Paola’s Florida beach upbringing and “Pine” represents the evergreen trees of Jesse’s backyard in New England.

The emblem took several iterations to get right. We wanted to express the founders’ passion for storytelling (and love of love!) in this visual element, so we spent hours perfecting each droplet, pine spring and speckle of salt, ensuring that each piece felt intentional and well balanced.

After an initial exploration phase, we landed on an elegant, modified serif typeface that has a little decorative funk in it.

We built a semi-custom website for Salt and Pine in Squarespace. This user-friendly solution makes portfolio updates easy and hassle-free.
